Joke of the Day

Mother's Day is coming up, and we're getting ready with today's edition of the Joke of the Day!

Current Poll - Post Your Opinion In Our Forums

1) Lawmakers in 15 states are considering banning realistic looking toy guns. They say the guns can be used in commission of crimes and can confuse law enforcement officers who may not be able to tell they are fake from a distance or in a dark area. Should Wyoming ban realistic looking toy guns?

2) A Michigan woman is calling for a law requiring all businesses to have bathrooms available to the public. Business owners worry about the cost of maintaining bathrooms for public use. Should business owners be required to open their bathrooms to the public?

Last Week's Results - WyomingNetwork does NOT represent this as a scientific poll.

1) Wyoming Senator John Barrasso has introduced legislation that would stop adding oil to the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve, unless gas prices dropped below $2.50 a gallon. He believes taking that oil off the market pushes up gas prices, but opponents say the Reserve is needed for national emergencies. What do you think?

2) Senators McCain and Clinton want to stop collecting the federal gas tax over the summer to help lower gas prices. Senator Obama says the savings will not amount to much, and there are no guarantees that prices will not rise anyway. Obama is also concerned about the loss of revenue used to repair and maintain highways. Should gas tax collections be stopped for the summer?
